Rate my – do public ratings make sense?

On the occasion of the IBA Annual Conference 2013, Danske Advokater and the Law Society of England and Wales present a breakfast discussion:

Rate my – do public ratings make sense?

on Monday 7 October 2013 from 8am to 9:15am

at the Berkley Room, Boston Marriot Copley Place, 110 Huntington Avenue, Boston MA 02116

RSVP:  by 1. October

How law firms are viewed by clients, be they businesses or individuals was once something that was only ever shared via word of mouth. However in the 21st century opinions can be shared on a local, national or even global basis. Technological developments facilitate review websites and professional network sites and enable private opinions to become public. Even when formal sites are not available, social media means that if someone doesn’t like something they can now let more people know about it then ever before. The potential for affecting a firm’s reputation and business are significant.

At the breakfast, we will discuss what the implications are for the legal profession as their clients take to the internet and how firms want their Bar Associations to respond to this challenge.
